Dr. Allan Vescan is a Royal College Board-Certified Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgeon, with subspecialties in minimally invasive skull base surgery and rhinology. He is an Assistant Professor in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto with staff appointments at Mount Sinai Hospital, the University Health Network and Centric Health. He is the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education within the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. In addition, he is a member of the Division of Surgical Oncology.
He received his Medical Doctorate (MD) in 2001 from the University of Western Ontario, followed by the completion of an Otolaryngology residency program in 2006 from the University of Toronto. He received his Oncologic Skull Base Fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007. He also holds a Master’s of Science from the Institute of Medical Science in Surgical Simulation from the University of Toronto.
